The Tsagaan suvarga (White Stupa) is a trace of a large lake from the ancient era. When the water of the lake dried up for a long time, the sedimentary layers of the bottom of the lake were exposed. The muddy sediments from the east have been eroded by rain and floods over time, forming a bank channel and its unique shape. The highest point of Tsagaan suvarga is 1327 meters above sea level. Its surface is heavily cut by dry ridges and ravines and reinforced like rocks. At present the ridge extends up to 6,000 meters long and tapers off at both side ends. In the middle area, it is fixed as a steep vertical wall as high as an 8-10 story house. The Tsagaan suvarga looks majestic from the left side even though it is completely invisible from the west side. In the morning, at the moment of sunrise, the mud formations of the White Stupa show off the extraordinary beauty of natural colors. Therefore, everyone who visits there adores. Even as the sun goes down in the evenings, during sunset, it offers a rainbow-hued view mixed with the valley color.

The local people have been worshiping Tsagaan suvarga as "White Khairkhan" (a name of respect for the mountain) since ancient times. It was a place hidden from the sight of tourists 10 years ago and visited by few people, but in recent years it has become a special tourist destination. A large number of tourists come to see the unique structure of White Stupa and take pictures next to its distinctive natural structure and see how wonderful the sunrise is at the place. Also, photographers come to the Tsagaan suvarga to take unrepeatable pictures, artists to draw eccentric paintings, producers to make hit music videos, and meditators and yogis to immerse themselves in the peace of the peaceful environment. The music video of the rock band “Hu”, which is popular in the world of rock music, has also been filmed there.

Near the White Stupa, one of the longest caves in Mongolia, the “Khevtee Bosoogiin Agui” (Horizontal and Vertical Cave) can be found. Moreover, tourist camps with modern facilities such as "Tsagaan Suvarga" and "Gobi Caravan Serai" is located. 4G networks of telecom companies Mobicom and Unitel have been accessed. Some tourism events, including a major event of contemporary art called "Spirit of Gobi" in 2020 by the best Mongolian artists, were successfully held.
